At our return to in-person Disney Magic last February, we honored Terri Hardin as our Disneyana Fan Club's Disney Legend. We were also entertained by the incredible Bob Gurr and Garner Holt.
On the heels of our exciting event, we are proud to announce a fantastic day of presentations featuring some of the cast members involved with the "Culinary Magic" and Disneyland. We will also hear the history of the Disneyland Hotel and its 65 year history with the Disneyland Resort for our next event in October 2022.
Check- in will be at 9:30 with presentations beginning at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at 3:30 p.m. A silent auction will be held throughout the day. The DFC team will present our exciting DFC Legends Luncheon at 12:00 Noon, where we will hear about our honorees of the Disneyana Fan Club's Legend Award, Oscar Martinez and Karlos Siqueiros, We will also be honoring Don Ballard with the Disneyana Fan Club's Heritage Award.
Please note: there will be NO dinner event.

Disneyana Fan Club's Disney Legend Honoree
Oscar Martinez Oscar Martinez has been serving culinary magic at Disneyland for over 60 years. He started at Disneyland in December 1956 in Fantasyland. But, became a staple at the Carnation Cafe on Main Street U.S.A. in 1967. Guests would always make a special stop to see Oscar and enjoy "Oscar's Potatoes" until Oscar retired in 2017. |

Disneyana Fan Club's Disney Legend Honoree
Karlos Siqueiros Karlos Siqueiros has been a great supporter and member of the Disneyana Fan Club, going back to when the club was first formed as the National Fantasy Fan Club (NFFC). Karlos has been serving culinary magic at Disneyland for over 35 years. He is currently a manager with the Disneyland food and beverage concept development team, which designs the various popcorn buckets, travel mugs, dessert cups and other designs found throughout the many Disney Resorts in its restaurants, quick service eateries and outdoor vending carts. His team is also responsible for the gingerbread house found at Disneyland's Haunted Mansion during its Nightmare Before Christmas overlay and at the lobby of Disney's Grand California Hotel. |

Disneyana Fan Club's Disney Heritage Award Honoree
Don Ballard Don Ballard is also another great supporter of the Disneyana Fan Club and his knowledge as the top historian of the Disneyland Hotel is mindboggling . Don Ballard first became interested in the Disneyland® Hotel in the late 1970’s. By 1998, he decided to start documenting the Disneyland® Hotel’s history by compiling many vintage paper items, photographs, magazines and souvenirs from the Hotel’s rich history. Don has written many books on the Disneyland Hotel, which he has updated with a new revised edition with additional photographs he has found, and plans to release a third book on the hotel's early years very soon. |
